Quebec is the capital of Canadian province Quebec. The city and the province are notable for the fact that official language here is French and the majority of population is French speaking. The name Quebec comes from Indian word “Qebec” that means “the place where river narrows”. River is St Lawrence. Quebec was found in 1608, it is one of the oldest cities in Northern America.
