Fayetteville is a city in Arkansas in Boston Mountains on the White-River bank with the population of about 75 thousand people. It was founded in 1825 on the place of post road. Fayetteville is home to Arkansas University with its beautiful campus and gardens. Dickson Street full of shops and restaurants connects the University with City Square where Farmers Market is held from April to November (food, flowers, hand-made things, etc.). Public Library is the first ecological building in the city and several times it was voted as the best one in the country. It has a coffeeshop and organizes different events. Fayetteville was the place where Bill and Hilary Clinton engaged. Their house is now a museum where you can watch the wedding dress of the first lady. Our city counts about 75 parks and green zones. The most interesting is Wilson Park with its sport grounds and a 19th century castle. Above all there is Pea Ridge National Military Park and Prairie Grove Battlefield State Park in the suburbs of Fayetteville.
