MORRO BAY

Description:

Morro Bay is a town in California with the population of about 11 thousand people. The main attraction here is fantastic Morro Rock and a causeway that links it with the coast. It is strictly forbidden to climb the mountain but there is a facility to walk around its basement. Unique nature of the region is reflected in the Natural History Museum exposition. Embarcadero area is a good place for a walk, there you can enjoy the view on a bay, watch wild animals and explore the port. Tired travelers will be picked up by free trolley and delivered to the city center. Morro Bay is a perfect for surfers and deep-fishing lovers.

Climate is Mediterranean. The warmest months are September and October, average temperature is about 20C, in January it falls to 5C.

Transport

The nearest big city with an airport is San Luis Obispo. Morro Bay itself is very small and can be explored by bicycle or even by foor.
