Ormond Beach is a city in Florida with the population of 40 thousand people. There are plenty of beaches and parks. The best known one is Tomoka park where manatees, alligators and more than 160 species of birds live. Eco-routes, places for picnics and observation are provided for tourists. Freda Dana Marsh Museum presents history and culture of the land. Once in Ormond Beach lived for some time oil magnate Rockefeller and now it is possible to visit with the excursion his former winter house. Climate is subtropical humid. Winter is dry and mild, average temperature is about 2C, snowfalls are very rare. In spring temperature is very comfortable, days are warm and evenings are fresh. Summer is long, hot and humid. In July temperature often rises above 30C. During the summer short-time thunderstorms occurs in the afternoons.
