Description:
Athens-Clark County is a city in Georgia with the population of about 115 thousand people. Old Georgia University campus (it was founded in 1785) is very beautiful per se and in the same time it is the center of cultural events in the city. In Athens you will find flea market, plenty of concert grounds bars, restaurants and coffee shops that all together create a unique atmosphere. Globe Bar was even appreciated as the third popular bar in the whole country. One of the beloved attractions here is the Tree That Owns Itself, or rather the son of this tree. More ordinary plants you can see in expansive and very beautiful botanical garden. In addition, every spring bicycle race are held.
