Description:

Frederick is a lovely city in Maryland with the population of about 65 thousand people. It was founded in 18th century by immigrants from Germany. Frederick has plenty of places connected with Civil War events. According to the legend, exactly here lived brave Barbara Frietchie who waved the shot by confederates American flag. Historical districts have preserved many houses of 18th century. Today Frederick counts about a dozen of art galleries, three theatres, two architectural museums and in addition it has painted bridge and plenty of antique shops.
