ANNAPOLIS

Description:

Annapolis is the capital of Maryland and has a population of about 40 thousand people. This a city with rich history full of political and cultural events. Annapolis is home for Naval Academy that was found in 1845 and played its part in life and traditions of our seaside city. State House was erected in 1772 and other numerous historic houses and public buildings belong to the same time. William Paca House is famous not only for its age but also for its fabulous gardens. From Sandy Point State Park you can enjoy views of Chesapeake Bay, bridge, passing by ships and a lighthouse. Streets of Annapolis are full of cozy restaurants where you can taste very good seafood.

Climate

Climate is humid subtropical. Summer is hot with average July temperature of about 25C. In January it usually doesn’t fall under 4C. The most precipitation occurs from May to September.

Transport

There is no railway station in Annapolis but the bus transportation network is well developed. Baltimore Washington International Airport is only 30 minutes drive away. It is convenient to move around the city center on foot.
