Traverse City is a city in the U.S. state of Michigan. Every first dull week of July there is held The National Cherry Festival when features parades, fireworks, an air show, election of festival royalty, live music, a pie-eating contest and cherries. Go to the Traverse City State Park to have a rest, go shopping to the Grand Traverse Mall. You can visit The City Opera House and The Dennos Museum Center where exist some exibitions for children.
