Ithaca is a city with the population nearby 30 000 persons, located in the State of New York, the USA. The city has been named in honor of known, Greek island mentioned in numerous myths. Ithaca is located on the bank of lake Kajuga which is a part of Finger-type lakes (Finger lakes) a glacial origin and consequently round a city a considerable quantity of reserves is located: national park Battermilk Follz, national park Taughennok Follz, national park of Robert Termana where it is possible to admire natural beauty and see falls. Besides in a city is located the earth museum, various musical festivals are often held. Special sight of Ithaca are campuses of the Kornellsky university entering into League of the Ivy and its ornithological laboratories.
