DUBLIN

Description:

Dublin is a flourishing city in Ohio on the Scioto River with the population of about 40 thousand people. It has several flavorful parks with good bicycle trails and outdoor sculptures and, in addition, perfect golf courses. In the beginning of the summer prestigious PGA (Professional Golf Association) Tour is held there. Orange trees that grow on the city streets add charm to American Dublin, its old town breathes antiquity. City Zoo is worth a visit as it is the place where the first young gorilla was born in captivity. Finally, Dublin is home to some big companies headquarters, as Wendy’s International and others. The biggest Irish Festival in the country is held there, don’t miss Saint Patrick’s Day.

Climate

Climate combines features of both subtropical and continental zones. Summer is hot and humid, winter is dry and quite cold (sometimes temperature can reach -25C)

Ohio State University Airport is very close to Dublin, the same can be said about Columbus International Airport.
