Description:

Medford is s city in Oregon surrounded by picturesque mountains of Rouge Valley with the population of about 75 thousand people. Numerous green zones like Alba Park, Bear Creek Park, Roxy Ann Peak/Prescott Park, Crater Lake National Park and more offer all opportunities for recreation: sport grounds, trails and breathtaking views. There you can fish salmon, raft, rid a horse or go skiing. The main attraction is a dormant volcano with the 30 million years history. In addition Medford is the big center of pear growing and in April Pear Blossom Festival is held. Small nearby towns like theater-city Ashland or gold rush witness Jacksonville are very interesting.

Climate is Mediterranean, very mild and comfortable. Average July temperature is 25C. Winter is mild with rare snowfalls. Usually temperature doesn’t fall under 5C. The most precipitation occurs from November to March.
