Long view is a small town in Texas that is famous for its cultural events that gather people from all over the country. In autumn Multicultural festival fill the town with energy, entertainments and exhibitions which are to reflect special features of local ethnic groups. In spring antiquity-fanciers assemble in Longview to participate in Zonta Antique Show and Sale. In summer the town sets up Alley ArtFest with exhibitions, concerts, degustations and antique car show and in addition spectacular Balloon Race on international level.

Climate

Winter is quite mild with average temperature 5C, twice a season ice storms happen. With spring come severe thunderstorms and regular rainfalls. Summer is hot and humid with average temperature 32C.

Transport

There are 2 airports that serve regional flights including the flight to Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. Railway station is the connection junction for trips to many Texas and Louisiana cities. Every week there are trains to Chicago, Los Angeles, Illinois and San Antonio.
