MESQUITE

Description:

This is a city in Texas very close to Dallas with the population of about 140 thousand people. It was founded in 1873 and was gradually developing thanks to proximity to the Texas & Pacific railroad. Arena Resistol performs popular rodeo competitions. Also balloon festival is held there. There are several parks and also big Lake Ray Hubbard is not very far from the city.

Mesquite is situated in the humid subtropical area. Average temperature of July is 30C. In January it falls to 5C.

Transport

Mesquite has its own small airport, also big Dallas airports are not very far. There is no public transport in the city. A couple of highways pass near.
