Cedar City is a city in Utah with the population of about 27 thousand people. It is situated between three big nature preserves and mountain ridges. In Cedar City you can take a rest and summon up fresh energy before exploring the wild nature. It is home for Southern Utah University and Shakespeare festival and in addition there is a golf course. Nearby preserves are full of natural beauty. There are picturesque mountain rivers, numerous small lakes, wild animals, birds and plants.

Because of the mountains proximity the weather is changeable. Summer is hot and warm, during the period from July to August there are thunderstorms and rainfalls. Average summer temperature is 30C. Winter is cold and snowy with average temperature of -8C.

City is served by Cedar City Airport. The nearest big cities are Las Vegas and Salt Lake City. You can move around by bus.
