MOAB

Description:

Moab is a small town in Utah on the Colorado River with the population of about 7 thousand people. A lot of tourists come here every year because of the proximity of Arches National Park with its canyons and huge natural stone arches shaped by erosion and eolation. The town is also popular among lovers of mountain biking, rafting, climbing, skydiving and other extreme kind of sport. While exploring the Mill Canyon Dinosaur Tracks you can come across with the fossils and petrified wood. Moab Museum keeps impressive collections reporting about the features of the land.

Climate

Climate is arid, with moderately hot summer and cool winter. There are little precipitation during the whole year. Average July temperature is 30C, in January it falls to -2C.

Transport

Moab is served by Canyonlands Field Airport that provides daily flights to Denver. You can get to Salt Lake City and Grand Junction by bus. There is no public transport in the town.
