Appleton is a calm and safe city in Wisconsin with the population of about 80 thousand people where famous illusionist Harry Houdini spent his childhood. Appleton is home for old mansion of 1881 that was the first house in the world to be connected to hydroelectricity system. Also there is a god historical museum and Paper Museum, big Fox River shopping Mall, Lawrence University and several parks. Appleton is very close to the Great Lakes.
