Located halfway between Jackson and the South Entrance to Yellowstone, high in the mountains of the Bridger Teton National Forrest, the Togwotee Mountain Lodge, in Moran (Wyo.), appeals to outdoor enthusiasts and people who appreciate being in the splendid natural environments. travelers wanting to escape for a few days can enjoy the Togwotee Mountain Lodge. The family friendly Togwotee delights snow lovers with snowmobile and dog sled tours of Yellowstone National Park and the Jackson Hole area. Located near major ski resorts, the Togwotee features summer activities such as horseback riding trips in the Teton Wilderness, covered wagon cookouts, fishing tours, hiking, whitewater rafting, scenic river floats and mountain biking.
A forty mile drive from the Jackson Hole (Wyo.) Airport, the Togwotee offers the Grizzly Steakhouse, Red Fox Saloon, and a pavilion large enough for corporate meetings, parties and family get togethers for up to 100 guests. The wilderness mountain lodge also features a hot tub, lobby fireplace, cookout equipment, and an arcade/game room and fishing pond for the kids.
The two story Togwotee features 28 guestrooms and 54 suites, all with standard amenities. Lodge suites include microwave ovens, refrigerators, sofa sleepers and bunk beds. Cabins are nestled among the piney woods just five minutes from the lodge, and feature two queen beds, sofa sleeper, two cable televisions, dining area, full kitchens and bathrooms, and barbecue grills.

Tucked along the shores of Jackson Lake, the Colter Bay Village is just that, a whole village. Accommodations range from cabins to an RV park. Cabins do not have televisions, radios or telephones. There are two restaurants, launderette, showers, a grocery store, gift-apparel shops, corrals, service station and a full service marina. Colter Bay Village's rustic log cabins are duplex-style accommodations located in a wood area, just a short walk from Jackson Lake. Inside you will find simple yet comfortable accommodations that consist of a bedroom and private bathroom with shower. Some of these cabins even belonged to the original settlers. Open May 27 to September 25, 2005. In keeping with the National Park location, rooms do not have televisions or radios.
