NOOSA HEADS

Description:

Noosa Heads is one of three tourist centers on the Sunshine coast in Queensland, Australia. This town is situated 36 km northward from Brisbane that is the capital of the region. Bounders of Noosa Heads are formed by Noosa River from one side and Noosa National park from the other. In the National park lives the population of koalas that you can meet during the whole year. The main treasure of Noosa Heads is its beaches that once a year holds world famous Surf Festival.

Climate of the region is tropical, the highest temperature is 28C, the lawest is 12C.

Transport

The nearest airport “Sunshine Coast Airport” is situated in the Maroochydoore 30 minutes drive southward of Noosa Heads. This town is the tourist “heart” of the region, from there you can get to all Noosa interesting places. Buses run from the station Noosa Heads. Also town is connected by railroad lines with other settlements of the region, the nearest station is 15 minute drive to the west.
