PUERTO IGUAZU

Description:

Puerto-Iguasu is the city located in the northeast of Argentina almost on border with Brazil and Uruguay. The city population - all 32 thousand inhabitants, the economy is almost completely focused on tourist sector. Here come to admire the well-known falls of Iguasu which is in the National park with the same name: its waters are overthrown from height of 70 meters, and it has really the right to be included in number not ceasing to surprise the world of miracles of the nature. Other place which causes a great interest is Hito Tres Fronteras (that is "the Point of Three Borders") where meet Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay and where waters of two surprisingly beautiful rivers merge together: Parana and Iguasu. Reserve room in local hotel or remove a bungalow and take pleasure in walk on Natural Municipal park Luis Honorio Rolon, visit to Muzej Mborore or even in a casino. If suddenly you will want to be engaged in shopping or to attempt at any small restaurant, admiring local landscapes, - the big shopping center and various institutions in city center always at your service.

Climate

In Puerto-Iguasu hot all year. Average temperature of June (the coldest month) about 20 degrees of heat, January - 31 degree of heat. Deposits drop out plentifully within all year: in the sum to 2000 mm.

Transport

To go in Puerto-Iguasu it is possible to take a train from Buenos Aires, going with station Federiko Lakrose and arriving to Posadas, whence it is possible to reach destination easily by the bus. It is possible to arrive also here by the plane: in a city there is an international airport. There are also direct bus flights from Buenos Aires, Retiro, Mendoza and other places.
