Description:

Ushuaia is a chief town of a province of Terra-del-Fuego of Argentina which in the today%27s world is considered most close to the south. At it the rich past: once for a long time in it missionaries gathered, then it formed sea base for the Argentina fleet and even a colony for dangerous criminals. Today Ushuaia becomes more and more tourist city, creating new entertaining and sports structures. People come here in the winter that it is fine to spend time on a mounting skiing resort, going down on a slope, covered is dazzling white snow, and then to drink a wine glass in one of charming local small restaurants. The small town is a starting point of cruises to Antarctic, an ice and cold kingdom, and walks on catamarans which swim on the channel the Beagle, allowing you to admire beauty of neighboring mountains and to observe representatives of local fauna: cormorants, sea lions, penguins. Visit national park Terra-del-Fuego and exhibitions of museums del-Fin-del-Mundo, Maritimo, Mundo Jamana.

Climate

In the summer there it is cool enough (average temperature - in area 10°C). Besides, strong winds, however, as well as in all Patagonia here blow.

Transport

In Ushuaia it is possible to arrive by the plane: for example, there are local flights from Buenos Aires and Santiago-de-Chile. There is still a possibility to arrive by the bus. In the city there are bus and microbus networks, also it is possible to hire the car or a bicycle.
