Description:

Municipality in Rio Grande do Norte state in the north-eastern part of Brazil with a population of about 11.000 people. Tibau do Sul is a quiet place, there are not many hotels. The beach is located in the lagoon and is protected by shelves so there are almost no high waves here. A dune buggy ride can be a good alternative to a beach rest. Buggy is a car specially designed for use on sand and can speed up to 70 km/h. Those who get tired of the calm rest of Tibau do Sul can visit Pipa that is situated in 7 km from it and is the most noisy village in the state. There are many bars and restaurants, the locals play live music all nights long. Pipa and Tibau do Sul is a good combination and are interesting not from the point of view of the seasonal rest but of real estate purchase as well.

Months from August to November have the maximum of the sunny days. Throughout a year temperature seldom goes lower than 22°C and can reach 36°C in October and November. March and April receive the heaviest rainfall.
