The HOTEL MONESTIR is situated in a very strategic place, very close to the big tourist places ( 35 Km.), but with a calmness and weather enviable. Situated at the feet of the Poblet’s Natural Park, and only at 500 metres of the Monastery of Poblet (Poblet Monastery, Monastere de Poblet, Klostern von Poblet), we found the Hotel Monestir ***, one of the most immemorial hotels in Catalonia (was well-founded in 1860), fully renovated following the rural style, in order to please our customers with a high quality stay and service. Due to its privileged weather and the medicinal water of the area, that nowadays still comes out from the Hotel’s taps, it is obvious that the zone where the Hotel Monestir *** is in, was chosen by former Spanish king Alfonso XIII and his sisters, as a place for summer holidays.
