Location. Mayfair Plaza Hotel is located in Hobart, Australia, in the center of the Sandy Bar shopping and restaurant district. The hotel is one kilometer from a casino, two kilometers from Salamanca Market and three kilometers from the Hobart Convention Center.

Guestrooms. The two story hotel's 21 guestrooms are accessible by exterior ramps to both floors (no elevator). All rooms face the landscaped central courtyard. Rooms also offer coffee and tea makers, refrigerators, desks and irons and ironing boards. All rooms are air conditioned and include bathtub and shower combinations.

Expert Tip. Salamanca Market is an open air market held every Saturday in Hobart's Salamanca Place. Vendors offer prepared meals, music, fruit, vegetables, coffee, pastries and coffee. The market's hundreds of stalls also offer crafts, including clothing, ceramics and hand worked glass.
