The M+M Apartments are located in a quiet part of Harrachov known as Klondike („Klondajk“), only 300 metres away from the centre of Harrachov and 500 metres from the ski slopes.The apartments feature a large living and a bedroom with a small dining area and a kitchenette. They are equipped with pine-wood furniture, 2 large beds and a comfortable sofa bed for 2 more guests. The living area is equipped with a satellite TV, a DVD player and a radio. The completely equipped kitchenette offers 2 hobs, a fridge, a coffee maker, a grill, a microwave and a toaster. The beautiful Devil's Mountain with the ski jumps and ski slopes is visible from most rooms. Near the apartment building you can find the reception, a restaurant, shops, a tennis court, a golf course (3 km), a swimming pool, a sauna and many more sport and recreational facilities.You can park on the central parking lot or in a garage for an extra fee. A ski bus is available in Harrachov free of charge.
Area information
The town of Harrachov lies at the western tip of the Giant Mountains, at 720 metres above sea level and is surrounded on all sides by mountains and forests. The town's dominant feature is the Devil's Mountain (Čertova hora) of 1022 metres. The Devil's Mountain lift is in operation all year round and also offers transportation of mountain bikes.The ski slopes offer access to another skiing centre, called Rokytnice nad Jizerou. Lots of cross-country tracks are there as well.Many marked hiking and cycling tracks make the area a paradise for nature lovers also during the warmer months. Visit the local glass factories, the Town Glass Museum and explore the natural beauty of the Mumlava waterfall. Lovers of mountain hiking should not miss to make a trip to the spring of the Elbe river and up to the highest mountains in the Czech Republic, the Snezka (1602 metres).
Travel information
Transport to Harrachov is available by bus via Liberec or Turnov to Tanvald and then along the E65 in the direction of the border crossing to Poland. Another possibility is to take one of the direct buses from Prague, Hradec Králové, Brno, Liberec, Turnov or Vrchlabí.A slow but very romantic means of transport is the cogwheel railway from Tanvald to Harrachov.
