Blommenslyst Kro, built in the year 1800, is a royally privileged inn of very good reputation. The inn is named after the person who built it: Anders Bluhme, who was a butcher and cattle dealer by trade. Anders Bluhme named the place Bluhmeslyst, which was soon translated into Danish with the word Blommenslyst. During its lifetime the inn has experienced many things, among others it has burned down twice. The inn has served as a stop for the yellow stagecoach, peasants, businessmen, tramps as well as other people.
