Les Grandes Rousses is a charming, chalet style hotel situated in the centre of Alpe D'Huez, just ten metres from the Grandes Rousses ski slopes and 50 metres from the lift. The 60 apartments and guestrooms have a simple decor with pine furnishings and some with views of the slopes. All are equipped with cable television, direct dial phones, housekeeping services, and private bathrooms.
After a day on the mountain guests can unwind in the sauna, steam room and hot tub, swim a few lengths of the pool, or bronze in the solarium. The bar offers a selection of drinks. The Restaurant Les Grandes Rousses is open for breakfast and dinner and serves traditional French dishes in a warm setting with wooden furnishings. Guests can catch a train to Grenoble Railway Station then the free resort transfer bus to Alpe D'Huez.
From the airport follow all mototways to Grenoble. In Grenoble, follow the motorway A480. Take the exit no. 8 'Vizille Stations de L'oisans. Once in Vizille, follow the RN 91 to Alpe d'Huez. The hotel is situated in the centre of the resort.

Situated in the heart of the ski resort, the hotel 'Les Grandes Rousses' is 5 minutes away from ski tracks, the main shopping street of the Alpes d'Huez, and the Avenue of the Games.The hotel is a large mountain chalet. The hotel offers 56 rooms on 3 floors, with an open view of the ski resort and 'La Barre des Ecrins' for most rooms.Ski School is also nearby (5 minutes on foot). Sports Centre and Cinema: 10 minutes on foot. Free shuttles between 09:00 to 21:00 to the various districts around the resort.The hotel gracefully offers a swimming pool, with wide glazed bays looking to the South and seen on the valley, the jacuzzi and the sauna (open from 09:30 until 19:15).Massages are available and must be paid for on arrival at reception.
