The Park-Hotel in Biedenkopf is situated right next to the Stadtpark in an absolutely calm location with view of the Landgrafenschloss (castle), built in 1194.Relaxation pure directly at our doorstep: Directly at the foothills of the mountains "Rothaargebirge", one of the most beautiful low mountain ranges in Germany, with its unique panorama over the timbered town Biedenkopf and the upper valley "Lehntal".

Area information

The state recognised climatic health resort of Biedenkopf has been attracting visitors for over 100 years. Situated 263 metres above sea level and home to the 674-metre high mountain "Sackpfeife", it is the ideal location for both cross-country and downhill skiing.During the summer the region offers beautiful hiking and cycling trails. Excitement is on offer at the Sackpfeife's summer toboggan run.

In winter, skiing and cross-country skiing can be perfomed on the local mountain Sackpfeife. The Park-Hotel in Biedenkopf is quietly located next to the city park with view of the castle from 1194.
