This family-run country hotel was built in 1994 and underwent extensive renovation work in 2005. It is suitable for groups of up to 30 people and can be booked for conferences or seminars. Our conference rooms accommodate up to 12 delegates and can be booked separately.

The family-run Buffet Hotel in Birkenwerder lies just a 30-minute train journey from Berlin’s city centre.The cycle path running between Berlin and Copenhagen awaits right outside our front door, and we provide ample storage space for bicycles.The hotel was completely renovated in 2005.

For individual travellers such as hikers and bikers, the hotel is open throughout the year. It is conveniently located for those wishing to visit Berlin, as the S-Bahn (city rail) takes you to the city centre in 30 minutes.

Travel information

Arrival by car:Leave the A10 motorway at the exit "Birkenwerder" and continue in the direction of the city centre ("Zentrum"). Turn left at the town hall and continue for approx. 300 metres. You will find the hotel on your right-hand side, just before the railway station.If you are arriving via the B96, travel as far as "Rathaus Birkenwerder" and then continue as above.Arrival by rail:Take the S-Bahn (city rail) line S1 towards "Oranienburg", and get out at "Birkenwerder". You will find the hotel diagonally opposite the station.From Friedrichsstraße station, it takes approx. 30 minutes to reach us. Services run every 20 minutes, both day and night.

Our China-Buffet-Restaurant is open daily and offers a lunchtime and evening menu. For a set fee you may take as much as you like from the varied Chinese buffet. Take your pick from soups, side dishes, desserts, meat dishes and vegetarian specialities.

The family-run three-star Buffet-Hotel was built in 1994 and completely renovated in 2005. It is far away from the hustle and bustle of the city and yet only at a stone’s throw from the big metropolis of Berlin. Hikers and cyclists are welcome to stay at the hotel throughout the whole year. Visitors of Berlin also choose this house, as they can reach the city centre in 30 minutes by suburban railway. The hotel is the perfect place for groups of up to 20 persons and can be booked for conferences. You can book the conference room seating up to 12 persons separately as well. The Berlin-Koppenhagen bicycle lane is right in front of the hotel. There is sufficient parking space for bicycles as well. Business hours of reception: Every day: from 07:00 to 22:00 .
