Address: Paderborner Strasse 212, Detmold, Germany
This hotel derives its name (literally: the deer’s leap) from an event from the past, when a deer being hunted by knights, made its leap for freedom into the valley. The hotel was built in 1952 at this wonderful location near the Berlebeck mineral springs, and was reopened in 2004 after an extensive renovation.
This family-run hotel is the Berlebeck area of Detmold, directly at the foot of the Teutoburg forest. Come and stay here in this beautiful and completely refurbished quaint timber-framed building, in the most scenic district of this beautiful former royal residence town of Detmold. Celebrate any family occasions, or hold your business functions and seminars here. Enjoy the tasty fare on offer in our hotel restaurant, offering you a delicious selection of regional and international dishes.
Food & beverage
In addition to the fine selection of regional and international delicacies available in the hotel restaurant, you may feast on delicious home-made pastries and cakes in the afternoon. In good weather you may of course enjoy this from the comfort of the hotel terrace.
