This hotel derives its name (literally: the deer’s leap) from an event from the past, when a deer being hunted by knights, made its leap for freedom into the valley. The hotel was built in 1952 at this wonderful location near the Berlebeck mineral springs, and was reopened in 2004 after an extensive renovation.
