Welcome to Freiämter Hof, a guest house in Freiamt near Fribourg in a beautiful landscape at the foot of the Black Forest. Freiamt is an excellent holiday destination in Germany for families, groups of friends and couples. The recreational activities that visitors can enjoy in this area are numerous: hiking, excursions and walks along jogging paths in the forest, tours in and around Fribourg and the Baden-Württemberg towns and attractions, bike rides and horse riding. Families with children are welcome to Freiämter Hof Guest House and various services are dedicated to the smallest guests: a play area, a menu with tasty dishes for kids and a playground behind the house. The guest house owners will be happy to organize wine tasting with snacks, horse carriage rides through the Schnäpsle Freiämter valley, guided walks, barbecues and boat rides in the Old Rhine. Since June 2003, an ancient barn has been transformed in a restaurant & pub, opened in the guest house and offering a cosy and warm atmosphere and a small bar, used for companies and parties. Behind the pub is the beer garden with playground. Every kind of event from birthday parties to business meetings or wedding receptions can be organized.
