This cosy guesthouse is situated in the heart of Oberlausitz, just a 2-minute drive from Herrnhut, a town which is famous for its connections with the Count von Zinzendorf. This is the perfect base for exploring the Oberlausitz region, going hiking through the Zittau Mountains, discovering the historical Old Town of Görlitz and marvelling at the half-timbered "Umgebinde" houses in Obercunnersdorf.Following an eventful day find relaxation in our cosy, rustic guest rooms or enjoy our down-to-earth cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere.

Area information

Our guesthouse lies close to the town of Herrnhut, which is renowned for its so-called "Herrnhut Baroque" architecture. Experience tradition and history here! The Count Ludwig von Zinzendorf nature trail runs past the hotel and allows you to discover the wonderful diversity of the Oberlausitz countryside. In the centre of Berthelsdorf you find the former mansion of the Count von Zinzendorf. Its architecture is characterised by clarity and simplicity.

We offer a wide range of traditional German cuisine as well as seasonal specialities such as fish, asparagus and game dishes.Our restaurant seats 30 while our veranda can accommodate 25 persons and can be used for family parties. We also offer a "Kutscherstube" room for 16 persons.
