This hotel is situated in the traffic-calmed town centre of Rottweil, just a few minutes’ walk from the pedestrian precinct. One of the oldest stone houses in the formerly free imperial city of Rottweil the hotel is situated in the heart of the historic town centre. Because of its central position, Rottweil is an ideal starting point for excursions to Lake Constance or the Black Forest.

Food & beverage

In our rustically decorated restaurant we offer you approximately 18 seating places for the à la carte service. The eye-catcher in the restaurant is the Biedermeier-period tiled stove, which is heated in winter to give off comforting warmth. We prefer to use seasonal, fresh products and restrict ourselves to a select menu, which is always freshly prepared. The cosy Platinum Bar is in a natural rock wine cellar and has a unique atmosphere.

Hotel Haus Zum Sternen was built in the historical town centre in 1278 and has been an inn since 1623. Lake Constance can be conveniently reached via the A 81 motorway within 35 minutes. Burg Hohenzollern castle is less than 20 minutes away. The guest rooms are furnished with antiques and are equipped with modern comforts. Each room has its individual flair: the rooms are lovingly arranged with great care for detail. On weekends we can seat approx. 18 guests in our rustic á la carte restaurant at a time. Here, we will serve you upscale German cuisine with Swabian influences. We prepare our meals only with seasonal, fresh products. Instead of offering a confusingly wide selection of dishes, we focus on a small menu of freshly prepared delicacies. Business hours of reception: Every day: from 16:00 to 22:00 .
