The old postal street Ilmenau-Coburg runs through the well-known Thuringian Forest. This is where our guesthouse is situated, right on the certified hiking trail "Goldpfad".Neumannsgrund, a district of Steinheid, is situated not far from the Rennsteig (2 km) trail and the upper Schwarza Valley. We serve home-style cuisine in the typical Thuringian style, consisting of snacks for busy guests and dishes such as stews and hearty soups. Our kitchen is open from 10:30 to 16:30 Tuesdays to Fridays.When the weather is fine, there is space for 25 people on our sun terrace and a children's playground to keep the little ones happy.
