Make the Hotel Ködmön Wellness part of your wellness holiday or tour of northern Hungary. A 4 star Szépasszonyvölgy hotel, it offers excellent spa facilities in the wine region just southwest of the Baroque city of Eger. The Hotel Ködmön Wellness provides guests with relaxation and rejuvenation through the use of its indoor swimming pool, light-therapy whirlpool, Turkish bath, and Finnish sauna. For an additional charge, you can use the UV sunbeds or receive a massage with professional creams or oils by Germanie de Capuccini. The hotel restaurant specializes in meat and fish, but salads, soups, and vegetarian entrees are also on the menu. Head to the Café Havana for cocktails, Latin music, and dancing. The hotel is located in the Szépasszonyvölgy, usually translated into English as the Valley of Beautiful Women (though some English signs may use Nice Woman Valley or other variations). This scenic, wine-producing valley is known for its excellent red wines, especially the one called Egri Bikavér (Bull's Blood). It’s a popular destination for wine-tasting. A tram takes visitors back and forth from Eger’s main square, called Dobó tér. Among the many popular Eger attractions, the most compelling is perhaps the medieval castle, the Egri Vár, which today houses several museums and galleries, with tours leading into the underground passages beneath the fortress.
