La Paradis has its own national park and a hotel. This is the only Transalpine French region where an establishment has been opened in authentic style. Founded in 1899 in the village of Cogne by the Gérard family, the Hôtel du Grand Paradis was modernised in 2006 with, as a delightful feature, a small private spa and a relaxing garden. The elegant, hand decorated guest rooms, speak warmth and well-being in its furniture and wooden floors. The restaurant Sant’Orso, some 60 metres away, serves traditional cuisine while you take in the panoramic view of the Grand Paradis glacier.
