Location. The Park Hotel Faloria is located in the ski resort of Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy, adjacent to the Olympic ski jump and overlooking Mount Faloria and the Dolomites. It is three kilometres from the centre of Cortina, with its upmarket boutiques and restaurants.
Hotel Features. This three storey traditional ski lodge, with its wooden balconies, beamed ceilings, and handmade furniture, has an onsite health and fitness centre, including a gym, indoor pool, sauna, steam room, massage booths, and solarium. There is ample ski storage, and a shuttle bus to the centre of Cortina runs regularly throughout the day. Complimentary garage parking facilities are also provided.

The restaurant at Park Hotel Faloria, with its wooden floors and beamed ceilings, serves Mediterranean dishes and fine wines. The Lobby Bar is open for cocktails, speciality whiskeys, and aperitifs. A complimentary breakfast is also included.

Cortina d'Ampezzo boasts an extensive ski area, with 30 chairlifts, six gondolas, and some 140 kilometres of piste.

Upper floor suites have panoramic terraces, while those on the ground floor have private gardens. Expert Tip. Cortina d'Ampezzo hosted the 1956 Winter Olympics, and has subsequently been the setting for many films, including 'Cliffhanger', and 'For Your Eyes Only'. You may also hear the local language of Ladin spoken by some residents.

Distance to Park Hotel Faloria is 130 kilometres, approximately 90 minutes' drive.

Getting there. The best way to reach the hotel is by car. The nearest train station is Calalzo di Cadore, 35 kilometres from the hotel. A bus service then connects to Cortina d'Ampezzo, running to coincide with arriving trains.

Getting around. The centre of Cortina d'Ampezzo is compact and can be explored on foot. In the summer months many of the ski trails can be used as hiking or cycling routes.
