Set in a quiet and sunny location on the outskirts of the village of Oberolang, South Tyrol, the Aparthotel Winklwiese is a terrific mountain resort in the Italian Alps. The Apparthotel Winklwiese is well connected to public transport with a bus stop nearby. Hotel guests can dine out in a choice of restaurants and pizzerias, or buy their own food at the self-service market. Travelers staying in the Winklwiese’s Valdaora-Olang studio apartments and rooms have a host of amenities at hand, including a Tyrolean Stube lounge room, a spacious wellness area, a children’s playing room, and a large garden with terrace outside. 

Our house existed as a B+B since 1975; in summer 2002 it has been expanded and modernised to latest standards. It re-opened in the winter season 2002/03 as Apparthotel Winklwiese. Our spacious and comfortable apartments can accommodate up to 40 persons. The apparthotel is situated in a quiet and sunny location on the outskirts of the village of Oberolang and overlooks the wide basin of Olang. You can reach the centre of Oberolang with its restaurants, pizzerias, the self-service-market, the public service bus station and the church on foot within 5 minutes. In our house we pamper you with a cosy little house-bar, a spacious wellness area with whirlpool, Finnish and Turkish sauna, Kneipp-shower, solarium, fitness room, room for table tennis; a Tyrolean “stube” (living room), a terrace and a big garden at the outside. From the light, cheerful breakfast room you can directly watch the children’s playing room. At your disposal there is also a lift, a big ski depot with an area to dry your shoes, a mountain-bike depot, a washroom with washing machine and automatic dryer, as well as parking lots in the garage (for an extra charge). Distance to the railway station 3 km, motorway 45 km. Dogs are welcome for an extra charge of 4-5 Euro per day. Our apartments are fit out with light built-in furniture, partly with fitted carpet, partly with parquet floor. The bathrooms are spacious, and in most of the apartments you can find a separate WC with bidet. Every apartment has a separate kitchen or a kitchenette with fridge, sink unit, ceramic hob, coffee maker, water boiler, kitchenware and cleaning utensils. All the apartments have a spacious balcony or terrace, hair-dryer, television, telephone, safe and internet connection. The cleaning of the apartments is made two times a week. The final cleaning is included in the price, provided that the apartment is left clean. Two of the apartments are on the ground-level and suitable for handicapped people.
