The woods surrounding the bed and breakfast are ideal for jogging or trekking or you can explore them via mountain bike or on horseback. The medieval village of Sassetta is just 5 minutes away by road. This charming little village has all you need for the most important daily needs, with a grocer’s, a post office, a pharmacy and a bank. The beautiful long sandy beaches of the Etruscan Coast, such as San Vincenzo and the Gulf of Baratti, are just a 20-minute drive away. Campo di Carlo is the ideal starting point to reach Volterra, San Gimignano, Florence, Pisa and the Elba Island.There is a table tennis table, a bocce court and a small children's playground with a swing and a slide near the house, a short distance away from the peaceful pool area.Bicycles are available for those wishing to explore the region’s natural beauty by bike.

Campo Di Carlo is a charming bed and breakfast offering comfortable accommodation in an ancient stone farmhouse, surrounded by the centuries-old woods of Val di Cecina and Val di Cornia. Close to the Etruscan Coast, this beautiful period building was carefully renovated. All of the property’s ancient charm was preserved and the building now houses comfortable en suite rooms, still preserving many of the attractive original features. A generous buffet breakfast is available every day and the well-equipped central kitchen is available for guests’ use. Around the main buildings, a huge, well-kept park and the outdoor swimming pool, equipped with deck chairs, sun loungers, parasols and a pavilion, provide the perfect atmosphere to enjoy a peaceful relaxing stay. Comfortable, attractive and rustic, Campo di Carlo is a great choice for a regenerating countryside break. The establishment is undergoing further improvement and will soon feature 2 extra rooms.

We: Andrea and Cristina have completely restored their antique stone farmhouse, with 8 bedrooms, each with private bathroom. In the morning, we prepare a rich breakfast buffet, composed of bread, toast, cereals, eggs, butter, jam, ham and salami, cheese, coffee, fresh fruits, fruit juices etc.During the colder months, guests can have breakfast in the breakfast room, whereas during the summer months, guests do usually have breakfast outside, under the peaceful veranda. At the guest's disposal is the completely equipped kitchen, where each room has reserved a locker for food. Outside, next to the house, a barbecue and a stone oven that are also both at the guest's complete disposal. Around the buildings, the huge, well-kept park and the nice swimming pool (14x7 mt), surrounded by deck chairs, sun beds, parasols and a pavillion, ideal to enjoy the silence of this place. Furhter underneath the house and more distant from the peaceful pool area, table tennis, a small children's playground (swing, slide etc.) and a boccia course. At the guest's disposal there are also bikes, with which it is possible to discover the surroundings. The farmhouse is located in the midst of the lush green Maremma countryside, with routes that are ideal for jogging or trekking. In 5 minutes by car it is possible to reach the medieval village Sassetta with grocer's and other shops for the most important daily needs, post office, pharmacy and bank.
