Danica Hotel is a comfortable resort hotel in the very centre of the Montenegrin coast, in the small town of Petrovac. Surrounded by pine forests, palm and cypress trees on the foot of a hill, it is only 150 meters away from the nearest beach, in a park that belongs to UNESCO’s World Heritage. Danica Hotel is an inviting place for families, couples and singles who appreciate maximum comfort and quality services in scenic surroundings and for all people of frail health.

Area information

The nearest beach is Petrovac beach, 150 meters away from the hotel. This popular beach with its reddish sand is about 600 meters long. There are 2 beautiful offshore isles, which are very attractive for deep-sea divers. Petrovac beach is a protected natural reservation. Its bathing part is rimmed with a promenade with cafes, restaurants and souvenir shops. Lucice beach is about 500 meters away from Petrovac and still remains unspoilt despite a large number of visitors. It has the shape of a small bay and is 220 meters long. The beach lined by cypress and pine trees is sandy as is the sea bottom. The water is very shallow. There are also 2 restaurants. The town of Petrovac with 1000 inhabitants is located on the south end of the Budva Riviera, only a few kilometres south of Sveti Stefanis. In the Roman times it was a summer resort for rich Romans, testified by remarkably well-preserved mosaics from Roman times. The most famous fortress Castillo, today housing a night club, was built by Venetians in the 16th century.
