Area information
Callantsoog is a beautiful touristic village, near the Northsea beach with a lively village center with cosy cafes, restaurants and terraces. In the Summer season there is a fair every Wednesday as well as various events such as country weekend, fairground etc.Various trips are organised from Callantsoog, i.e. the nearby West-Frisian market in Schagen and the famous Cheese markt in Alkmaar. Also Den Helder with i.e. its Fort Kijkduin (a historical fortress built by Napoleon's orders) and Texel are also easily accessible from the village of Callantsoog.
