Van der Valk Hotel Middelburg is situated central on peninsula Walcheren and offers several possibilities to discover the beautiful surroundings. Besides the nice sea side resorts Veere and Domburg, is the coast from the Westerschelde, the Northsea and the Veerse Lake always close. Rooms and Suites Van der Valk Hotel Middelburg has 120 rooms; these are standard rooms or  suites. The comfort rooms accommodate 2 single beds (length 2.10 m), desk, sitting area, wardrobe and a bathroom with douche and/or bath and toilet. The comfort rooms also accommodate a safe, flat screen television, fridge, temperature controller, coffee and tea facilities and a French balcony. The hotel also holds four family bedrooms with an extra bedroom for two children and we also have four spacious superior rooms. These superior rooms accommodate a king size bed and a spacious bathroom with Jacuzzi & flatscreen television. On the fourth floor you will find our ten very exclusive theme suites that provide all the luxury you need. Restaurant and hotel bar Our Menu consists of many traditional and modern dishes that are prepared with care in our kitchen by our chefs who are working under the leadership of the head chef. After a busy day you are able to enjoy a drink in our cosy hotel bar. You can also use the bar for a break to get your attention back on track, a drink after a successful meeting or to meet up with friends. The bar staff will go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Banqueting rooms The hotel also holds luxury boardrooms, spacious meeting rooms and a 435m2 Congress room. The meeting rooms have a business character, but are also great for social events such as celebrations, weddings, parties and private dinners. The Michiel the Ruyter room is a lovely round room; located on the fourth floor of the hotel and it has a phenomenal panoramic view.
