The Hotel Convent d`Alter - The convent of Santo António wich belonged to the Franciscan Order was built in the end of the 16 th Century and included the church of Santo António. In the 19th century the convent was converted into a private house and was later abandoned reaching an advanced state of degradation until the time when Altertur SA bought the building and transformed in into a fine quality hotel known today as Hotel Covento de Alter****.This property has provided all content and is solely responsible for its accuracy.
