High up in the hills of Madeira, surrounded by vineyards and with the sparkling sea beyond, lies a 17th century farmhouse, a jewel, untouched by modern development. The property is composed of a main house with a common area and several cottages. Carefully restored to sacrifice none of its original rustic charm, the interiors of this house with floors of flagstone and polished wood, beamed wooden ceilings and Portuguese azulejo (hand-painted tiles), contribute to the truly special atmosphere of this small property.
