The Roundhouse is a luxury South Africa guest house located in De Kelders, in Gaansbai. It is housed in a three-storey building that is a modern version of a traditional African Rondavel with a round shape and thatched roof. The top floor of the guest house offers a large room that serves as the bar area. Here, you can access wireless internet, or relax with friends to watch TV on the large projector screen complete with surround sound. Outside this area, a large terrace offers the perfect place to soak in a six-seater Jacuzzi, enjoy a glass of wine, and admire the sunset over the bay—you might even spot a Southern Right Whale swimming past. From the guest house, you’re just a two-minute walk to a pub, as well as to land-based whale watching points. Conveniently, the owners of the hotel also own The Great White Adventure Center and Eco Adventures, and can assist you in booking all sorts of activities, including sea kayaking, 4 x 4 mountain tours, visits to the Drip Kelder Caves, and shark cage diving excursions.
