The hotel is located on Villaviciosa’s main avenue. This is a growing area where the main businesses are establishing themselves. In front of the hotel you will find the municipal, public swimming pool which has a gymnasium, sauna, spa as well as an indoor swimming pool. The municipal sports centre and tennis courts are also near by and are of public access.

Quick description

Cristal Hotel is situated near the well-known Estuary of Villaviciosa. It is famous for its special drink "sider", and has beautiful beaches and stunning scenery. The Estuary of Villaviciosa is a striking, natural spot, combining elements from the river and the sea. The main characteristics of this Estuary of great environmental value are the halophilous and sub-halophilus vegetation, its important fauna, especially ornithological and the great variety of units generated within its boundaries.The Estuary flows into Tazones, between the beaches of El Puntal and Rodiles and gradually narrows into the centre of Villaviciosa itself, when it reaches The Porreos, name given to the pieces of land found in the area reclaimed from the sea where sub-halophilus meadows can be found with highly interesting canals and ponds. The forests surrounding the valleys are specially recommended for hiking.

Area information

Villaviciosa is surrounded by a beautiful, green valley. Near the village you can enjoy a game of golf at a superb 9-hole golf course. There are a various parks where you can enjoy a stroll or a jog and the well-known ria where you can practice a number of sports.

Travel information

You can get to the village via the motorway connected to Gijón and Oviedo. From the motorway there are two entrances: one coming from Santander and the other from Oviedo and Gijón. You will find us easily as we are just in front of the municipal sports centre. Although we do not have a parking, you will not have a problem parking close to the hotel.

Room information

Elegant and simple rooms, decorated in different colours: double rooms have shades of maroon and rooms with two beds are decorated in green. They include a desk and some beautiful paintings. They are all exterior and we have some triple rooms, where it is possible to add a fourth bed.
