Sporthotel Valsana is quietly located in the heart of Arosa, providing a beautiful view of the Lake Obersee and the surrounding mountains. Our guests are enthralled by the sports and wellness facilities of our four-star superior hotel. The hotel features a vast garden with tennis courts, on site indoor tennis, putting green, beach volleyball, bocce, large sunbathing lawn with playground, a modern indoor pool, massage and fitness rooms, sauna, steam bath, solarium and a beauty centre. Arosa is a ski resort with 60 km of slopes. Here you can enjoy skiing, snowboarding and numerous hiking trails (in summer and in winter). Our 73 hotel rooms are of four-star standard. We provide 50 double rooms, 15 single rooms and 8 suites with living and sleeping room (or 4 beds). Room amenities include minibar, hairdryer, direct dial telephone, cable TV, radio, bathtub or shower (depending on the room type) and WC. All of our guests can dispose of the diversified leisure offer of the mountain region, in summer as well as in autumn. This is possible with the free Arosa Card (free ride of the Arosa mountain railways, free entrance to the local museum and a lot more). The Sporthotel Valsana has been run as a non-smoking hotel since the summer season of 2008, due to the Grisons canton amendment from March 1st 2008 concerning smoking. Arrival by car: A1 motorway exit Zurich-Chur: A1/A13 motorways to Chur. Exit Arosa (Chur centre). Arrival by train Zurich – Chur – Arosa: Change trains at the Chur station. The Arosabähnli mountain railway station is situated outside the main station. Signs are everywhere. The railway from Chur to Arosa runs every hour. If you tell us your exact arrival time, we are happy to pick you up at the Arosa main station and to give you a ride to the hotel. Arrival by plane: The next international airport is situated in Zurich – Kloten. From there guests can take the train to Zurich main station and then to Chur-Arosa.
