For the winter La Reine des Alpes is your open window to Les Portes du Soleile, where Swiss style meets the French touch.For the summer, La Reine des Alpes offers paragliding, Nordic walking, horseback riding and mountainbiking. In July and August, hotel guest enjoy free entrance to the outdoor swimming pool of Morgins.The Portes du Soleil is the biggest area for biking in the world, with 650 km of tracks, 25 lifts, 10 downhill tracks, 4 bike parks and different shore tracks.

La Reine des Alpes lies in the centre of the authentic village of Morgins in the Swiss Alps, South east of the lake of Geneva. La Reine des Alps is a characteristic and atmospheric hotel with beautiful spacious room, a large terrace, cosy bar and a good restaurant where French and English speaking personnel will be waiting to look after you. In this informal atmosphere with breathtaking surroundings you can relax to the full and enjoy you winter or summer stay in the mountain.

La Reine des Alpes is your open window to "Les Portes du Soleil", the greatest ski area in the world 650 km of ski track.During the summer, this is also the paradise for hiking and mountainbiking.The hotel is situated in the centre of the beautiful village of Morgins, in front of the skilift and even all the village facilities are in a close surrounding.
Food & beverage
The characteristic restaurant has a panoramic view of the mountain and seats up to 60 guests. It is open from 08:00 to 22:00. The restaurant is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. In July and August the restaurant is only closed on Wednesdays.The terrace is decorated as a summer garden or a winter garden and on a sunny day is the ideal spot to relax in a comfortable terrace chair and enjoy a drink in the sun. You can also enjoy a tasty lunch or evening meal on the (heated) terrace The large bar is the perfect place to enjoy drinks, ice cream or cocktails while gathering with a group of friends or to meet some of the local residents.
Room information
During the autumn of 2003 the hotel underwent an extensive renovation. Each of the 11 bedrooms and 2 suites were individually designed. The decor is a blend of colour, texture and atmosphere that has developed an exceptionally relaxed and stylish aura. The rooms are equipped with king-sized beds, including luxurious duvet.
