The family-owned and operated Hotel Weiss Kreuz lets active guests enjoy the feel-good factor in a familiar atmosphere with a warm welcome and a carefully thought-out range of services. Area information

The Hotel Weiss Kreuz is located in the centre of Thusis. The station, the bus station and lots of shopping opportunities are easy to reach on foot. Thusis, the regional and district capital, lies 720 metres above sea-level, at the entrance to the legendary Viamala Gorge, and is the regional centre for the Hinterrhein and Albula valleys. Great shopping, varied cultural offerings and many sporting and entertainment opportunities leave almost nothing to be desired. Its central location and ideal links to rail, bus and road networks make Thusis the hub at the heart of the Grisons region. In a fascinating landscape with lots of charm and unspoiled natural surroundings, there are virtually unlimited opportunities for ramblers, mountain bikers, culture fans, railway enthusiasts and others. There are three golf courses within a 20 kilometre radius, and winter sports fans can search out Grisons' finest ski destinations in the same area.

Travel information

By car:- From the Lake Constance area take the A 13 motorway (St. Margrethen - San Bernardino - Bellinzona) ,leaving at junction 22 (Thusis Süd).- From Basle or Zurich you can reach our hotel via the A 3 motorway (Basle - Zurich - Sarganserland) and then the A 13 to junction 22 (Thusis Süd).- From Milan/Chiasso take the A 2 motorway (Chiasso - Bellinzona - Basle). At Bellinzona change to the A 13 (San Bernardino) and then leave at junction 22 (Thusis Süd).From motorway exit 22, follow the signs to "Thusis Zentrum". Take the first exit from the roundabout (by the Migros supermarket) into Neudorfstrasse. After about 250 metres, you will see the Hotel Weiss Kreuz on the right-hand side. Our car park is behind the hotel building.By train:All SBB connections (IC, EC, IR, RE) to Chur, change to the Rhaetian Railway and by Regio Express to Thusis. Use the lift in the Viamala centre and turn left from the Piazza, following the pavement for approx. 150 metres.

The restaurant, which is also open to the public, offers the ambience of a cosy, rustic local bar, the generously proportioned dining room invites you to enjoy dinner in a smoke-free, tasteful atmosphere and, when the weather permits, the sun terrace is the ideal place to linger.
