In the summer of 2003, the hoteI's interior was extensively renovated in the Bauhaus style of the 1920s, since the building's cubic exterior conspicuously resembles this style. Well-known artists such as Wassily Kandinsky (painter), Paul Klee (painter) and Marcel Breuer (architect) can be admired in the interior design.

The hotel is easily reachable by public transport. By suburban train you can reach the centre as well as the airport of Zurich in only 30 minutes. The spacious hotel restaurant seats 120 people (in summer an additional 80 guests can be seated in the garden) and serves regional Swiss dishes and refined, high-quality wines.
