This privately owned Regency-period building is in Cheddar. There is friendly, helpful service and a licensed bar lounge where a fire burns during cold weather.Previously The Market Cross Hotel, Arundel House offers fresh 3-course evening meals (when requested 24 hours in advance).For those with allergies, please note that Arundel House has dog (Sweep) and a cat (Tanta). For those with no allergies, both are very friendly and happy to meet guests!Whilst at Arundel House you can easily visit the Cheddar Caves, Cheddar Gorge and the Mendip Hills.

By Car:From the M5:- Leave the M5 at junction 22 (Burnham-on-Sea).- Follow the A38 north for 11.3 km/ 7 miles. - Turn right to Ceddar. - We are on the A371 right in the centre of Cheddar village opposite the Market Cross.From the airport:We are 24.1 km/ 15 miles (20 minutes) from Bristol Airport.- Turn right out of the airport on to the A38 until you reach the A371. There are taxis at the airport and we can arrange taxis back.By Train:The train station is in Weston-Super-Mare. The bus 126 brings you to our front door. Ask the driver for the Market Cross.

Breakfast is included in the price of the room.24 hours notice required for 3-course evening meals in our small restaurant, as we can then cater to likes and dislikes and dietary requirements.There is also a snacks menu that has light snacks and some more substantial snacks that are available until 22:00.We also have a small bar in the lounge.
